CAPÍTULO 15 Juan 15:1-27. Discurso en la mesa de la cena continuado. 1-8. La unidad espiritual de Cristo y su pueblo, y su relación con ellos como la Fuente de toda su vida espiritual y fecundidad, se exponen aquí bellamente mediante una figura familiar para los oídos judíos (Is 5:1, &c.). Yo soy la vid verdadera —de quien la vid de la naturaleza es solo una sombra. y mi Padre es el labrador —el gran Propietario del viñedo, el Señor del reino espiritual. (Es ciertamente innecesario señalar la pretensión de divinidad suprema que esto implica).
